Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teen, she has worked in both the traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the sound of the young singer as sharp with sweetness but with bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami is her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released on the 20th of March, 2022 after the show by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to perform in a solo performance on the show. Motomami was her album which has won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
