MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 was awarded a Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song for 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. In the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. In the following year, he joined Ozuna to record his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is released in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album that year. In 2021 he produced the duet to TINI's smash song Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his parents and brother are musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is compulsory. While a boy was in school, he took guitar as well as the saxophone. In spite of initially wanting to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change the direction of his profession.
