Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Growing up she was influenced by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos, operas and other theatrical performances. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense training in singing. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. After 2000, she emigrated to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her home in southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for music and art keeps her involved in a range of projects. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft.
